What Southclaw is
Southclaw is an AI assistant platform. You sign up, name your assistant, and chat with it on Telegram. It can help with everyday tasks like writing, research, answering questions, and — if you choose — managing your email, calendar, and contacts through Microsoft 365.
Your account
You need to provide accurate information when you sign up. Keep your login details safe — you're responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has access, let us know straight away.
Credits and payments
Southclaw uses a pay-as-you-go credit system. You buy a credit pack and use it at your own pace — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Credit purchases are non-refundable. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Acceptable use
Use Southclaw for lawful purposes. Don't use the service to do anything illegal, generate harmful content, harass others, or attempt to abuse or exploit the system. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Third-party services
Southclaw relies on a few third-party services to work. Your conversations are processed by Anthropic's AI models. Messages are delivered through Telegram. Payments go through Stripe. If you choose to connect your Microsoft 365 account, Southclaw can access your email, calendar, and contacts on your behalf — this is entirely optional.
AI and data accuracy
Your assistant is powered by AI. It's helpful, but it's not perfect. Responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Don't rely on Southclaw for critical decisions — always verify important information independently.
Service availability
We do our best to keep Southclaw running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided on a best-effort basis with no formal SLA. We may need to take the service down occasionally for maintenance or updates.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We can also suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. When your account is deleted, your data is removed — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Limitation of liability
Southclaw is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of Southclaw after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
